1. The personal data we collect
Depending on how you use the Site, we may collect:
- Identity & contact data — name, email address, mobile/phone number, delivery address.
- Order data — items ordered, order history, delivery date and instructions, and communications with us (including WhatsApp).
- Account & loyalty data — login details and your DB Rewards membership, points balance and activity.
- Payment data — payment is handled by our payment provider. We receive confirmation of payment and limited transaction details, but we do not collect or store your full card or bank account numbers.
- Technical & usage data — device, browser, IP address, and how you use the Site, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
2. How we collect it
We collect data directly from you (at checkout, when you create an account, join DB Rewards, or contact us), automatically through cookies, and from service providers who help us run the Site and fulfil orders.
3. How we use your data
We use your personal data to:
- Fulfil your order — process payment, bake, package and deliver, and provide customer support.
- Manage your account and DB Rewards — track points, rewards and membership.
- Communicate with you — send order confirmations, delivery updates and service messages.
- Send marketing — news, offers, promotions and product updates, where you have consented (see section 4).
- Improve and secure the Site — analytics, fraud prevention, and keeping our services safe.
- Meet legal obligations — tax, accounting, and responding to lawful requests.
4. Marketing & our customer database
When you place an order, create an account, or join DB Rewards, you provide contact details such as your email address and phone number. By providing these details, you agree that we may store them in our customer database and use them to contact you with marketing and promotional communications — including news, offers, events and product updates — by email, WhatsApp, SMS and similar channels — as well as to send you service messages about your orders and account.
Your data is kept protected and secure, and we don’t use it for any purpose other than those described in this policy.
You are always in control. You can withdraw your consent and opt out of marketing at any time by contacting us through WhatsApp or email. Opting out of marketing won’t affect essential messages about orders you’ve already placed, and it won’t delete your account.
5. Who we share your data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with parties who help us operate, and only as needed:
- Delivery drivers and couriers — to deliver your order (name, address, phone).
- Our payment provider — to process payments securely.
- Our website and hosting providers — which power and host our online store.
- Messaging & communication providers — e.g. WhatsApp, and the email/SMS tools we use to reach you.
- Analytics and IT service providers — to help us run and improve the Site.
- Authorities and advisors — where required by law, to respond to lawful requests, or to protect our rights.
Some of these providers may process data on servers outside Indonesia. Where personal data is transferred abroad, we take steps consistent with the PDP Law to ensure it remains protected.
6. Cookies
A cookie is a small file stored on your device when you visit the Site. We use functional, performance, advertising and social/content cookies to keep the Site working, remember your preferences, understand how the Site is used, and improve your experience. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work properly without them.
7. How long we keep your data
We keep your personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above — for example, to fulfil your order, run your DB Rewards membership, meet tax and legal obligations, and while you remain a marketing subscriber. When it’s no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymise it.
8. How we protect your data
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against loss, misuse, and unauthorised access. No online service can be 100% secure, but we work to keep your information safe and to act quickly if an issue arises.
9. Your rights under the PDP Law
Under the Personal Data Protection Law, you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- correct or update inaccurate or incomplete data;
- delete or request erasure of your data, where applicable;
- withdraw consent (including for marketing) at any time;
- object to or restrict certain processing;
- request a copy of your data; and
- lodge a complaint if you believe your data has been mishandled.

10. Children’s privacy
The Site and our products are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children without the consent of a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us so we can remove it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational or regulatory reasons. The current version, with its “Last updated” date, is always on this page.
